NFL trading begins Tuesday at 4 p.m.

Free agency begins Tuesday at 4 p.m.

Wake the Big Guy. NFL year is about to begin.
More importantly for the Eagles, that also is the official beginning of the trade season.

Wide receiver DeSean Jackson, designated a non-exclusive franchise player, is free to seek offers. If he gets a deal the Eagles don't want to match, they would receive a first round draft pick or work out some other suitable compensation. Jackson is trade-able whether or not he signs the $9.5 million tender.

Count on the Eagles shopping cornerback Asante Samuel, who trashed the front office for shopping him last summer.
