Eagles saying stuff that gets coaches fired

Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined the Eagles being more undisciplined than the Lions.

Bills refugee Bell on pace for 17 penalties.
Speaking of which, what NFL team committed the most penalties in a game this season? Thank you, the Lions. They were booked for 16 worth 132 yards Sunday.

And the Eagles were beaten by the Lions.

All of it prompted veteran Jason Avant to be brutally honest with his teammates and coaches. Here's what he said about their lack of discipline.

You can bet Avant will be called on the carpet for being so vocal. No matter. He cares. He'll take one for the team. Right now that's more than can be said for too many of his teammates as well as the coaching staff.
