Vikings Favre, Peterson questionable for Birds
Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier says he's not thinking about leaving Brett Favre home this week.
But the way Frazier spoke Wednesday it sure sounds like the Vikings aren't counting on Favre to recover from a concussion sustained Monday night.
"We’ll see how he responds as the week goes on but right now we’re looking at Joe Webb potentially being our starter along with Patrick Ramsey backing him up," Frazier said on a conference call. "Rhett Bromar would be the third quarterback."
The Vikings signed Bromar earlier in the week.
Additionally Frazier said he would probably hold running back Adrian Peterson out of practice due to a thigh injury.
“He’s doing better," Frazier said. "It’s going to be a day-to-day deal with him and maybe even go right down to game time. He’s making progress. That thigh has been real sore."
