Justice, Parker restructure contracts to stick with Birds

The Eagles kept veteran linemen Winston Justice and Juqua Parker.

But those players are going to have to play - and play well - to recoup the money they were previously scheduled to make this season.

Justice and Parker both restructured their contracts according to an NFL source.

Justice, taken off  the physically unable to perform list, will have to stay healthy and get back in the starting lineup to recoup the money he was supposed to make.

In essence Justice and his still not 100 percent knee must either beat out Todd Herremans, who was moved from left guard to right tackle, or Evan Mathis, the new left guard who has impressed O-line coach Howard Mudd.

Parker has to get on the field and reach incentives to earn the salary he originally was slated for this year.
