Eagles jettison another draft pick
Defensive end Daniel Te'o-Nesheim was signed off the Eagles practice squad Tuesday by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
TO is a 2010 third round pick the Eagles couldn't wait to get bigger and play faster. TO wasn't close to his program specs of 6-3, 263 pounds.
Interestingly the Eagles signed a larger defensive end to take the open spot on their practice squad.
The guy is Maurice Fountain (6-4, 270), who grew one inch and gained seven pounds between Miami and Seattle.
Fountain played for the United Football League champion Virginia Destroyers.
Fountain was in the 50-plus games played club at Clemson, where he was a linebacker.
