Vick wants roster, coaching turnover to end

Feels Eagles have right players, coaches.
With no chance for a winning record and the futures of Pro Bowl talents DeSean Jackson and Asante Samuel uncertain, the Eagles could undergo significant change over the offseason.

Then there's the coaching staff. To save his job as head coach Andy Reid might have to relieve Juan Castillo, the defensive coordinator, of his duties.

Quarterback Michael Vick wants to keep it all together. If ownership is listening, that's coaches and players - keep it all together.

“You look at all the teams that are winning Super Bowls in the last couple of years,” Vick said. “Those teams have been together for a long time. That’s how leaders are born and that’s how guys learn to step up and accept the challenge of their role in the offense and the defense. There’s got to be a balance. You’ve got to have veteran guys and leaders who have been together for a long time, who learn to become a voice in the locker room. And these guys are doing it now.”

Dear MR. Vick you can't stay healthy long enough to ever get to the Superbowl, so don't talk to loud. You weren't the choice of to many Eagle fans anyway. Also Asante Samual can't tackle cause he,s afraid he'll get hurt. And as for DeSaun Jackson known as alligater arms, cause hes afraid to take hit is nothing more than a mocho Devin Hester. So in short these 3 guys should find a new home

EAGLES, FALCONS, WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE? he had no team leadership in a red jersey, and still is incapable of leading anyone to a winning season. It is about vick, always been about vick, never about team. Loser mentality with a overblown ego. Sorry Phila., you gotta learn the vick lesson the hard way!

The biggest problem has been defense. Yes, the offense has misfired a few times but with an average defense that would not have been an issue. Come on now, folks are so reactionary. Your offense has to outscore the oppenent EVERY week.

Just run the ball more on offense and realize teams have taken Jackson away and adjust the play calling according. Not rocket science that the NFL wants to make playcalling out to be.

I think Vick was talking about the roster, I don't see anything about coaches....and even Cullen Jenkins credited the recent success to the players, not Castillo. I really don't think the players truly believe in Castillo, bring in Spags. A full off-season will be the same as Juan having a lockout season, except Spags is an ACTUAL defensive coordinator and has super bowl experience etc etc. It should be a no-brainer but who knows.

Where would this team be if they had Kolb and not Vick. Where would this team be if they were running with VY and not Vick. Some people are so blinded by color or the fact that they can't give someone a second chance. Please give me a break if the offensive line could protect Vick he would be much healthier. Get a new D-coordinator and some o-line and you will be fine Philly fans.
