Peters has surgery for 'football' injury
Jason Peters underwent what the Eagles called "successful surgery" this morning to repair his ruptured right Achilles' tendon.
While the Eagles contend Peters ruptured the Achilles' in "football drills," the word is he may have been hurt playing basketball.
Repairs were made by Dr. Steve Raikin of the Rothman Institute. The surgery took place at Jefferson at the Navy Yard in Philadelphia.
