Shoot one up there for Steven Jones, the Kansas linebacker by way of Strath Haven High school.

If anyone deserved a reward for the work put in, it's Jones (6-0, 239). His story is chronicled here.

The letter Jones is reading is the one he crafted somewhere between Scranton and Wilkes-Barre just to get a chance to walk-on at  Kansas.

The rest - and hopefully a spot in the draft - is history for Jones.
