The inaugural Michael Vick Celebrity Golf Tournament is Monday, June 18 at Stone Harbor Golf Club.

Vick will host and play in the event with celebrity guests including past and current pro football players and local celebrities and sports figures from the Philadelphia region.

It benefits the Boys & Girls Clubs of Newport News (Vick's hometown) and Philadelphia.

"I grew up in the Boys & Girls Club," Vick said in a release. "Thanks to this important program, I was able to play organized sports as a child. I want to make sure the programs continue to give children positive alternatives."

The event begins at noon. Donations to compete in the tournament are $300 per person, or $1,200 per foursome.  A wide variety of individual and corporate sponsorships are available.  Contact Dave Lowman at the tournament office (804-512-3967, dave.lowman@yahoo.com.).
