The Eagles increased slightly in value despite their 8-8 season according to the Forbes.com list of top 50 sports franchises.
Forbes ranks soccer franchises Manchester United ($2.23 billion) and Real Madrid ($1.88 billion) first and second.
The New York Yankees and Dallas Cowboys, both worth an estimated $1.85 billion, are knotted for third.
The Washington Redskins ($1.56 billion) are fifth, followed by the Los Angeles Dodgers and New England Patriots, both worth $1.4 billion, soccer's Barcelona ($1.31 billion) , the New York Giants ($1.3 billion), soccer's Arsenal ($1.29 billion) and Bayern Munich ($1.23 billion), the New York Jets ($1.23 billion) and the Houston Texans ($1.2 billion).
The Eagles are No. 14 at an estimated $1.16 billion.
