Brian Westbrook formally moved on from pro football as he tendered his retirement papers Wednesday.

Westbrook went out as an Eagle.
 
“I’m blessed to be here and I’m thankful to be here,” Westbrook said at the NovaCare Complex. “I spent eight good years, eight of the best years of my life in Philadelphia playing for the Eagles. It was a great organization. Still is a great organization.”
