Strong safety Ray Ventrone (right hamstring), the product of Villanova University, is expected to be sidelined for the Browns' preseason game with the Eagles.

Former Eagles Dimitri Patterson (right ankle) and weakside linebacker Chris Gocong (Achilles’ tendon) are  among 13 Browns who aren't expected to see action tonight.

Others likely out are rookie running back Trent Richardson (knee), strongside linebacker Scott Fujita (knee), tight end Benjamin Watson, running back Chris Ogbonnaya (ankle), cornerback Antwuan Reed (left leg), strong safety Usama Young (hamstring), linebacker Emmanuel Acho (undisclosed), defensive tackle Scott Paxson (right knee), offensive lineman Oniel Cousins and defensive tackle Phil Taylor (torn pectoral).
