Cards safety Wilson's streak over at 61 games

Espresso, misters. Doesn't get any better than this.
The Eagles got a huge break before their kickoff with the Cardinals.

Cardinals safety Adrian Wilson, one of their top players, was scratched ending a string of 61 straight starts. Wilson was listed questionable with injuries to his ankle and groin. Limited at practices he was expected to give it a go.

Four-year veteran Rashad Johnson started in place of Wilson.

The Cardinals also deactivated veteran tight end Todd Heap (knee), their leading receiver with eight catches for 94 yards.

The Eagles scratched offensive linemen King Dunlap (hamstring) and Nate Menkin, defensive lineman Vinny Curry, wide receivers Jeremy Maclin and Riley Cooper, running back Dion Lewis and quarterback Trent Edwards.

Demetress Bell mades his starting debut for the Eagles at left tackle. Dallas Reynolds made his first start at center in place of Jason Kelce, out for the balance of the season with torn knee ligaments.

Lewis hasn’t dressed-out this season, the Eagles going with rookie running backs Bryce Brown and Chris Polk.

Cornerback Curtis Marsh got back on the field for the Eagles after sitting out last week with a sore hamstring.

The Cardinals also scratched quarterback John Skelton (ankle), wide receiver LaRon Byrd, running back William Powell,  and offensive linemen Pat McQuistan and Senio Kelemete.
