Strath Haven High product Steven Johnson made the Denver Broncos thanks largely to a stellar preseason.

Johnson with letter he wrote that got him in the door.

Johnson (6-1, 239) led the Broncos with 15 tackles in the preseason. He joined the team as a priority free agent out of Kansas, which he also led in tackles.
