Eagles 10-1 when McCoy rushes for 100 yards

McCoy, right, with DJax.
In a 27-6 loss to the Cardinals the Eagles had 21 rushes for 126 yards.

In their 19-17 win over the Giants those numbers increased to 36 rushes for 191 yards.

Coincidence?

Running back LeSean McCoy was skittish after getting just six carries and two rushing yards in the first half against the Giants. He erupted for 121 yards on 17 carries in the second half, enabling the Eagles to control the clock and minimize Michael Vick's game management, a factor in the team playing its first turnover-free game of the season.

"I just felt that feeling; that feeling when you want the ball," McCoy said. "Coach Reid, we do this thing where we look at each other, that type of thing. There's an understanding. And he started feeding me."

It was the   11th career 100-yard rushing performance for McCoy. The Eagles are 10-1 in those games.

It was McCoy's fourth 100-yard game against the Giants. The Eagles are 3-1 in those games losing to the Giants last September.
