Mission Impossible: End Brees' 50-game TD streak

Drew Brees back in the day.
Drew Brees has a touchdown pass in 50 straight games, the longest streak in NFL history.

The Eagles can give themselves a chance to beat Brees and the Saints Monday night at the SuperDome and give their season a jolt by ending that skein, improbable as that seems.

Brees has 301 career two-touchdown pass games, throwing a pair last week in a 34-14 loss to the Broncos. That total is sixth all-time among NFL players.

Brees also has thrown for 300 or more yards in 62 games, tied with Brett Favre for third all-time.

The Saints (2-4) are favored by 3 1-2 points.
