Can Brent Celek play WR?

The Eagles announced that wide receiver Arrelious Benn tore the ACL in his left knee Tuesday and is done for the season.

Benn was acquired from the Buccaneers for a sixth-round pick and a 2014 conditional pick.

Earlier in training camp starting wide receiver Jeremy Maclin was lost to a torn ACL. Maclin was slated for surgery Tuesday.

The Eagles also released wide receiver Dave Ball.
