Vick says shooting at birthday party was 'strike 3'

Courtesy of NFL Network, here's a preview http://tinyurl.com/23jo7fd of their interview for Thursday night in which Eagles quarterback Michael Vick goes through the events leading up to the shooting at his 30th birthday party.

It could have been the last party on the outside for Vick in quite awhile as he came close to blowing his probation and winding up back in jail.

"It could have been over," Vick told Deion Sanders. "There were 24 hours in that day and I shed 10 hours worth of tears. That changed me simply because it was strike 3, and I was running out of chances and opportunities. Honestly I was like, do the right thing. Do the right thing and stay out of the way. Come back to Philadelphia. Study some football. Do something different. Dedicate your life to change."
