During a visit to the University of Missouri this past weekend, Eagles wide receiver Jeremy Maclin told alums by way of the Mizzou Football Blog about his new lease on life and the Dream Team hype.
"They're calling us a Dream Team," Maclin said. "Hopefully we can live up to that."
Maclin endured a gut-wrenching offseason of tests for cancer that proved negative. The Eagles leader with 10 touchdowns last season missed most of training camp and wondered when, if ever, he would resume his career.
Another former Mizzou Tiger, Falcons linebacker Sean Weatherspoon, interviewed Maclin for the blog.
