Grading Eagles media

Really, really curious to hear what readers/social networkers think of coverage of the Eagles.

Who do you like to read?

Who do you hate?

Who do you hate but read anyway?

Is Howard Eskin part of the media?

What do you think the Eagles media composition? Too young, too old, too male, too female, too tough, too timid, etc...

I'll post the civil responses here.

(Too serious?)

Is this what happens during the Bye week? Slow news period? Just kidding ... Of course, I give Bob Grotz's coverage an A+. He's not sensational, but factual and provides a lot of context to his reporting with a great sense of humor, which has been important this year with the Eagles. I'm based on the West Coast so I appreciate the timeliness of the news and tweets; it helps keep me informed. I love feeling like I have the inside scoop to what's happening with the team. And it's great that Bob stays out of the fray when it comes to physical altercations with other reporters. Bonus points! So more of the same ... and keep it coming.

On the other hand, I am disappointed by the way the team handles news dissemination. And they don't reach out to fans via their social media channels at all. I understand this might be a matter of staffing demands but get some interns in there. Take it from someone with a PR/mktg background ... bad news doesn't go away just because you want it to. Fans have been vocal this season, for good reason, and the Eagles could have used this time to show some appreciation for their passionate fan base. Instead, they went a little dark. Definitely a C-/D+, which means lots of room for improvement.
