Eagles meet with first-round caliber DT Poe

Poe burning up track at the scouting combine.
The really big news walked through the complex in the form of Donatari Poe, the 6-3, 346-pound defensive tackle who will come off the board in the first round of the upcoming NFL draft.

With the dreadlocked Poe in toe, Eagles defensive line coach Jim Washburn pulled the reins on his walk through the main hub of the complex, seeing the swarm of media hanging out to get yet another word with newly signed Demetress Bell.

Washburn then tried a ridiculous misdirection, telling reporters to meet Fletcher Cox, another first-round draftable talent out of Mississippi State.

Poe smiled.

“I’m Poe,” the Memphis standout said.

And a visit by arguably the top defensive tackle is huge news in terms of the Eagles’ draft plan.
Staged? Don’t think so.

You never know with the Eagles.
