|Should Eagles commission a Joe Banner|
statue? And where would it go?
We may not have seen the last of former Eagles president Joe Banner, even if he's unable to secure a job resurrecting another football franchise.
Though Banner supposedly stepped down from his post to look for other opportunities and to accommodate co-owner Jeffrey Lurie's natural "transition" to a "much more traditional" management structure, he conceded he's still working as a consultant. And Banner probably would be around Super Bowl week, should the Eagles be fortunate to play for a title in New Orleans.
"I think we have as good a chance this year, if not better than we've ever had," Banner said. "And I think there's a reasonable chance I'll still be here through that."
