Vick survives difficult Thursday afternoon practice
The Eagles' Thursday afternoon injury report would have been a lot worse had quarterback Michael Vick been on it.
For a moment it appeared that would be the case as the key to the Eagles' season grabbed the lower left side of his back.
Vick felt something there late in the 87-degree practice when he scrambled sideline to sideline, chased by the linebackers.
A team source said Vick was OK. Vick wasn't around to explain why he didn't get rid of the ball.
Linebacker Jamar Chaney exited with what the Eagles hope is just a strained left hamstring. He was slated for an MRI afterward.
Safety O.J. Atogwe (right groin), wide receiver Jamel Hamler (right hamstring), running LeSean McCoy (cramps) and safety Nate Allen (cramps) all were unable to complete practice.
