Eagles benefit from Ravens, Cardinals schedules

Eagles playoff losing streak began here in Glendale.
The Eagles are 1-point favorites this Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens, who have to gear themselves up in a hurry as they played Monday.

The good news for the Ravens is the drive to Philly for the 1 p.m. kickoff (CBS Channel 3, WIP 94.1-FM) is less than two hours - including a stop at the Waffle House.

Still not that good.
The following weekend the Eagles oppose the Cardinals in Glendale, Ariz.

While the Eagles entertain the Ravens the  Cardinals figure to be getting crushed in Foxboro, Mass. by the Patriots (14-point favorites).

On the long flight home the Cards almost certainly will debate which ordinary quarterback gives them the best chance to beat the Eagles.

The choices are John Skelton, who got the job done last year at the Linc or Kevin Kolb,  who lost his starting job to Skelton, after losing it to Mike Vick while a member of the Eagles. (Or rookie Ryan Lindley per Twitter.com/Tags19).
