Eagles scratch Dion Lewis, Demetress Bell

Bell scratched ... who would have thought it?
Rookie running backs Bryce Brown and Chris Polk were activated Sunday in the wake of the Eagles' decision to scratch backup running back Dion Lewis.

Lewis sustained a hamstring injury Friday and was listed questionable for the Browns. The injury report made no mention of his missing practice.

The Eagles also deactivated Demetress Bell, who lost the starting job at left offensive tackle to King Dunlap, and dressed rookie offensive tackle Dennis Kelly.

The other Eagles scratches wide receiver Riley Cooper (collarbone), safety Colt Anderson (knee), offensive lineman Nate Menkin and rookie defensive end Vinny Curry.
