Cowboys RB fined for hitting Eagle
The NFL fined Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray $21,000 for striking an Eagles defender with the crown of his helmet.
Murray could have been penalized but wasn't. Under NFL rules the ball carrier cannot deliver a blow with the crown of his helmet.
The Eagles defeated the Cowboys 24-22 at AT&T Stadium to advance to the wild card round of the playoffs. The Eagles entertain the Saints Saturday night at the Linc (8:10, Channel 10, WYSP 94.1-FM).
