Eagles higher-ups decided to use Washington without “Redskins”
in their media guide for the upcoming game.
The nickname is offensive to many.
The Redskins logo, however, remains on the book.
Eagles head coach Chip Kelly was asked Thursday if “Redskins”
was an appropriate name for an NFL team.
“I have a lot of
personal beliefs on things,” Kelly said. “But my belief doesn’t affect what
that name is. So they can do what they want to do.”
