Chip Kelly and the R-word

Eagles higher-ups decided to use Washington without “Redskins” in their media guide for the upcoming game.

The nickname is offensive to many.

The Redskins logo, however, remains on the book.

Eagles head coach Chip Kelly was asked Thursday if “Redskins” was an appropriate name for an NFL team.

“I have a lot of personal beliefs on things,” Kelly said. “But my belief doesn’t affect what that name is. So they can do what they want to do.”

Looks like another media hype story. Seems to me there are plenty of pertinent stories to follow, even Chip basically said he doesn't care about the name, where's the story here?
