20. Jets – Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis: Could be a defensive
lineman such as Jarran Reed here. Let’s face it though, the Jets need a
quarterback and the 6-7, 244-pound Lynch threw the ball faster than anyone at
the combine according to Ourlads.com and their radar gun.
21. Washington – Jarran Reed, DT, Alabama: Try moving this nose
tackle, who frequently took on double-teams with the Crimson Tide, is like
trying to cash a check without an ID. Not going to happen.
Eagles playoff possibilities; don't lose to Washington
Basically the Eagles would win the NFC East, where they're tied with Washington and the Giants with a 6-7 record, by: A) Winning their last three games. B) Defeating Washington and the Giants.
Too busy to think of playoffs ...
The Eagles don't want to lose to Washington, as the Burgundy & Gold would hold the head-to-head tiebreaker and potentially the division tiebreaker.
The Eagles have a 44 percent probability of claiming the division pennant compared to 38 percent for Washington and 16 percent for the Giants, according to PlayoffStatus.com.
There are other subtleties depending on how Washington and the Giants fare in their remaining games. The Eagles would be eliminated from the No. 3 seed in the playoffs if they lose to or tied by the Cardinals, or if the Vikings defeat or tie the Bears or the Packers beat or tie the Raiders.

Comedian Frank Caliendo does a lot of impressions well.
One of the more enduring sketches is Jon Gruden, the Super Bowl winning coach turned ESPN Monday Night Football analyst. Jon Gruden's younger brother Jay, the coach of Washington, was asked to share his thoughts on Caliendo's sketches. Jay gives Caliendo a thumbs up.
"He’s pretty good at it," Jay Gruden said on a conference call. "I’ve seen it a few times and he does a good
job especially with his facial expressions and all that. (Caliendo) actually was in West
Virginia and my middle son got a chance to meet him and got his picture taken
with him. He does a good job."

The bench-clearing brawl last week pitting offensive tackle Jason Peters of the Eagles against Chris Baker, his defensive counterpart, wasn’t as costly as anticipated.
Peters was fined $10,000 for striking Baker in the head after the play was over. Baker was billed $8,268 for grabbing Peters by the facemask.
Peters delivered a thunderous head slap to Baker, who not only flattened Eagles quarterback Nick Foles with a vicious blindside shot but chest-bumped teammate Trent Williams to celebrate it.
Baker wasn’t disciplined for the hit on Foles as the league ruled it was legal.
The NFL wasn’t so tolerant of some other hits by Washington players last Sunday.
Keenan Robinson of Washington was fined $22,050 for “unnecessarily striking an opponent with the crown of his helmet” when he delivered a chilling helmet-to-helmet shot on Darren Sproles in the first half.
Akeem Davis of Washington was billed $8,268 for “grabbing an opponent by the facemask.”
Davis was penalized for a horse-collar tackle on Sproles during a punt return with 11:08 left in third quarter.
Mildly surprising was that David Amerson of Washington wasn’t fined for a helmet-to-helmet hit that mildly concussed McCoy in the first quarter. McCoy had to exit the game. He returned but rushed for just 22 yards on 19 carries.
The Eagles activated draft picks Marcus Smith (linebacker) and Jaylen Watkins (cornerback), paving the way for the rookies to make their playing debuts.
The Birds scratched quarterback Matt Barkley, wide receiver Josh Huff, safety Earl Wolff (knee), offensive tackle Matt Tobin, guard Kevin Graf, linebacker Mychal Kendricks and defensive end Taylor Hart.
Washington scratched quarterback Robert Griffin III, cornerback Tracy Porter, linebacker Akeem Jordan, defensive end Kedric Golston, tight end Jordan Reed, offensive tackle Morgan Moses and wide receiver Santana Moss.
