Shady might want to get himself a paver

The Eagles are selling pavers costing up to $350 (disregard the inscription) including logo and up to 72 characters inscription, to construct the “Eagles FanWalk” outside Lincoln Financial Field.

There are three paver options, starting at $175, on sale to the general public May 14. The walk won’t be done until 2016.

The Eagles obviously have the right of first refusal on inscriptions, Shady McCoy.

Eagles taking batting practice with Phillies

It’s not an audition.
But five Eagles, including quarterback Mark Sanchez, are slated to take their cuts at batting practice before the Phillies play the Marlins Friday at Citizens Bank Park.
Sanchez has the technique to swing a baseball bat.

The cast of Birds includes kicker Cody Parker, tight end Zach Ertz, long snapper Jon Dorenbos and middle linebacker Kiko Alonso, whose brother Carlos, is a second baseman for the Phillies’ Double A Reading affiliate. My money, if you will, is on Kiko or Cody getting the most hits.

It’s a chance for the Eagles players to live out their fantasy.

It’s also an opportunity for the Phillies to include them in a promotion for the Phillies Phanatic, whose birthday will be celebrated Sunday.

Speaking of Alonso, acquired from the Buffalo Bills in a trade for running back LeSean McCoy, his sibling, Carlos was batting .212 with three doubles and six RBIs in nine games.
