NFL Draft projected picks 30-31

30. Panthers - Artie Burns, CB, Miami: Does it all, including press coverage and blocking field goals. Panthers regrouping after Josh Norman trash-talked his way out the door.

31. Broncos - Germain Ifedi, OT, Texas A&M: Long arms, big hands and elite 6-6, 324-pound frame. He can play tackle or guard.

NFL Draft projected picks 28-29

28. Chiefs - Noah Spence, DE, Eastern Kentucky: Super-aggressive to the ball, he’s just waiting to show The Ohio State what they missed when they went in another direction due to, uh, character concerns.

29. Cardinals - Eli Apple, CB, Ohio State: A solid cover corner out of Voorhees, N.J. unrelated to the billion-dollar company, Apple (6-1, 200) has length, speed and a penchant for committing over-aggressive penalties  (11 holds-interference penalties last two years).

NFL Draft projected picks 26-27

26. SeahawksJonathan Bullard, DT, Florida: Bullard tested off the charts at 6-3, 285 pounds as he ran 4.93 in the 40 and recorded a 32-inch vertical jump, among other accomplishments. Reminds some scouts of Michael Bennett.

27. PackersReggie Ragland, LB, Alabama: One of the fiercest and most secure tacklers in the draft, Ragland will make the Lambeau crowd ‘oooohhhh’ and ‘aaaaaahhh’ all day. Just what the Packers need.

NFL Draft projected picks 24-25

24. Bengals William Jackson III, CB, Houston: From mid-round consideration to first round pick, the 6-2 Jackson is still climbing.

25. Steelers Vonn Bell, S, Ohio State: Just the kind of get-after-it football player the Steelers have been missing since Troy Polamalu retired.

NFL Draft projected picks 22-23

(stunning one-handed catch)

22. Texans - Laquon Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss: Pair him with Brock Osweiler and you’ve got instant offense.  ‘Megaquon’ plays faster than his 4.65 time in the 40-yard dash.

23. VikingsWill Fuller, WR, Notre Dame: Drops are a concern but the Roman Catholic product showed elite 4.32 speed at the combine. There’s always room for a field stretcher.

NFL Draft picks 20-21

20. Jets Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis: Could be a defensive lineman such as Jarran Reed here. Let’s face it though, the Jets need a quarterback and the 6-7, 244-pound Lynch threw the ball faster than anyone at the combine according to Ourlads.com and their radar gun.

21. Washington Jarran Reed, DT, Alabama: Try moving this nose tackle, who frequently took on double-teams with the Crimson Tide, is like trying to cash a check without an ID. Not going to happen.
