Plaxico Burress would be a perfect fit for the Eagles

Plaxico Burress to the Eagles is too good to be true (http://tinyurl.com/3u86y6w).

Sure, the guy is coming off a jail sentence of one year and eight months for illegal possession of a handgun.

And, yeah, he's not a Mensa. I mean, the guy almost blew his you-know-what off when the gun he stuffed into his pants went off, shooting him in the thigh in a night club in November of 2008.

All of that said Burress is - or at least was - a very good football player. The way the NFL is you don't want a Rhodes Scholar as your go-to guy in the red zone.

Burress' craziness and his height (6-5) are just what the Eagles need. Michael Vick could lob jump balls to him all afternoon. It's too good to be true.

Bob, I am soooo in agreement with you on this one! Some delutional folks might tell you that we already have a tall WR in Riley Cooper. In my mind he's another Matt Jones, ie, a tall white guy who will soon be out of the NFL. I have been begging for another tall red zone threat since they drove T.O. out of town. Bring on the Plax!
