Before Asante Samuel left for home Wednesday, he gave a statement to some of the same reporters who heard him accuse Eagles president Joe Banner and general manager Howie Roseman  of playing fantasy football with owner Jeffrey Lurie's money.


The statement came after an emergency chat with head coach Andy Reid. Samuel said nothing about the power struggle he felt Eagles management was waging with Reid.


Interestingly Reid issued a statement following his meeting with Samuel.


"As far as my relationship with Howie and Joe, I have a great deal of respect for both of them and I know we are all on the same page,” it read.
