The formal announcement isn't out yet but the Eagles have elevated guard Julian Vandervelde to the 53-man roster and, a source said, will place offensive tackle Todd Herremans on injured reserve.

Pulling to the left, Herremans blocked Cameron Jordan to the ground on a LeSean McCoy sweep Monday night.

The Saints' defensive end rolled into Herremans, bumping him airborne.

All of Herremans' weight landed - toes first - and on the outside of his right foot.

How the Eagles reset the offensive line for the Cowboys this week will be more apparent after practice. It sure doesn't look like Danny Watkins will be back this week, though.
