Watkins' return could bounce Dunlap

Rookies Dennis Kelly, left, and  Nick Foles.
With Danny Watkins all but a lock to return to practice, the Eagles likely will make more changes to the starting lineup.

If Watkins (ankle) is cleared to play this week against the Redskins, a possibility barring a setback, he would step back in at right guard, where rookie Dennis Kelly has played.

Reid wouldn't confirm that Kelly would move to right tackle to take over for King Dunlap, but it seems viable. Reid said he spoke with Dunlap about the job he did in the Cowboys game, which was perhaps his worst game as a pro.

Dunlap had an angle but gave up on tackling Dwayne Harris during a 78-yard punt return for a touchdown. The Eagles had to use a timeout when Dunlap went to the sideline instead of staying on to block for a field goal.

"King's never been a problem," Reid said. "He's one of the smarter guys on the offensive line. But you can't let your emotions get the best of you. You can't let that happen."

Pro Bowl left tackle Jason Peters, on the reserve/non-football injury list, won't practice this week according to Reid.
