Todd Herremans has Larry Johnson injury

Eagles offensive tackle Todd Herremans has a dislocated cuboid bone, ligament damage and slight tendon strain in right foot
Burkholder telling Vick to keep head on a swivel.

The cuboid is the bone on the outside of the longest toe of the foot.

"It's a very rare injury," Eagles trainer Rick Burkholder said.

The good news is Burkholder anticipates a good outcome although he's still researching the injury.

The not so good news is that although Larry Johnson is a running back, not a tackle, he was never the same after sustaining a similar injury in 2007.

Johnson rushed for 1,750 and 1,789 yards plus 27 touchdowns in the two seasons preceding the injury. He didn't get a sniff of 1,000 yards the rest of his career.

Initially Burkholder thought it was a Lisfranc sprain.
