Reid: Flu-ridden McCoy 'getting there'

LeSean McCoy doesn't want to miss this game.
Eagles running back LeSean McCoy is going to have a tough time getting 100 percent healthy by 4:25 p.m. Sunday.

Anything the Eagles can get out of McCoy, battling the flu and a chest cold according to head coach Andy Reid, beats the alternative of playing without the Pro Bowl running back.

"He's getting there," Reid said after practice Friday. "He looked pretty good today, actually. He looked OK but we're just kind of easing him back in. He's still got a little bit of a cough but he's getting there."

Reid scratched rookie running back Chris Polk (turf toe), guard Danny Watkins (ankle) and wide receiver Mardy Gilyard (hamstring).

Demetress Bell starts at left offensive tackle, King Dunlap at right tackle and rookie Dennis Kelly at right guard.
