Eagles not brushing off Williams antics
The Eagles are on top of the Cary Williams situation.
In so many words they've quietly made it clear to Williams he needs to set a good example, not be the example of what not to do.
Williams' scrappiness - most recently a fight last week with teammate Riley Cooper - is a big concern of players. Some fear Williams will erupt at the wrong time, turning the momentum or worse, costing them the game.
Quarterback Michael Vick, of all Eagles, has said Williams has to tone down his hot-headedness.
Williams gets tested Monday night when the Eagles open the season against the Redskins at Washington.
