Reid tells NFL Coaches Association what they can do with their 'brief'
With the 8th court ready to take arguments and rule on the legality of the lockouts, the NFL Coaches Association has joined the side of the players - in a brief, at least.
Makes sense. Several coaches have taken paycuys or furloughs due to the lockout. Oh, and the Eagles coaches have not been affected - yet.
Hence this statement Thursday from Andy Reid:
"The Eagles coaching staff was not aware that a brief s being filed by the NFL Coaches Association in the 8th Circuit Court against the NFL Owners last week. We were surprised by the filing and do not support it in any way.”
