Don't be a hero in your pickup game, OK?

Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie hosts a Tennessee State Celebrity Basketball Slam Jam fundraiser benefiting that school's athletic program  this Friday.

Eagles teammates DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin, among others, are scheduled to help along with Vince Young, Devon and Jason McCourty, Michael Griffin, Mike Jenkins and Dre Kirkpatrick, a projected first round draft pick.

Hopefully the  guys will stay out of harms way. That's something Jason Peters (ruptured Achilles' tendon) was unable to do while he was playing hoops ... uh, I mean doing football drills.
