Never enough red zone threats.

The Eagles will meet Tuesday with Visanthe Shiancoe, the 32-year-old tight end who spent  the past five seasons with the Vikings.

Shiancoe visited Monday with the Patriots per Jason La Canfora of CBSSports.com.

In addition to tight end, Shiancoe  (6-4, 250) is athletic enough to play H-back and fill in at fullback.

Shiancoe caught 36 passes for 409 yards (11.4 yard average) and three touchdowns last season.
