Vick: "Man, this is a tough crowd"
Taking responsibility. |
While almost the entire press corps listened to Eagles head coach Andy Reid on the south side of Lehigh U., the few, the proud and the brave staked out Michael Vick's entrance on the north end.
The quarterback couldn't help but smile for he knew what was coming.
"Man," Vick said, "this is a tough crowd."
The questions were straightforward, not theoretical ridiculously analytical or chatty. So was Vick.
And it was refreshing working in a setting where no company man asked reporters following the chat how well Vick addressed the issue he raised about the Eagles - coming off an 8-8 season - becoming a dynasty.
Talk obviously isn't going to win football games. Taking responsibility will, in due time. And Vick has done just that.
