Eagles cut Moten, give his No. 57 to Williams

Might want to step it up on special teams.
It was just the other day Adrian Moten was saying the Eagles' special teams issues weren't the fault of one man but that if you don’t do your job, you’re gone.

Well, after one game he’s gone.

The Eagles literally took the No. 57 off his back and gave it to linebacker Jason Williams, who was signed Tuesday.

Last week Brian Rolle was the Eagles' linebacker who got the special teams shaft. He wore 52.

Williams (6-1, 244) last played for the Panthers, appearing in 14 games in 2011 and leading them with 15 tackles on special teams, plus a forced fumble.

Williams also played for the Cowboys in 2009-10. They selected the Western Illinois product in the third round of the 2009 draft.
