Eagles Celek out with concussion

Eagles tight end Brent Celek suffered a concussion on the first play of the game against the Bucs.

Celek took a shot in the back of the head after a one-yard reception.

Celek was helped off the field, given the concussion tests and having failed them, flunked for the rest of the game.

Celek’s treak of 93 straight starts is in jeopardy. He hasn’t missed a game since entering the league.

Cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha hurt his neck in the second quarter but X-rays were negative. Asomugha was replaced by Curtis Marsh.

Asomugha returned in the second half.
