Reid: Personal tragedy has "nothing to do with how this season's gone"
Tough year for the tough guy. |
Eagles head coach
Andy Reid prefers to internalize the passing of his oldest son
during training camp.
Conceding the
personal loss was rough, Reid went in another direction entirely when asked Friday how
draining it was for him in perhaps his most trying season.
“That’s not the
reason the season’s gone the way the season’s gone,” Reid said. “You handle
personal things separate. Nobody wants to lose a son. That has nothing to do
with how this season’s gone.”
More in the Saturday Delcotimes.com.
The Eagles are
4-10 with a home date remaining against the Washington Redskins and a road game
versus the New York Giants.
