Reid says he'll stick with Nick over Vick

Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has been cleared to play football again this season.
Vick wants to get back on the field.

The Eagles confirmed Vick, who sat out his fifth straight game after sustaining a concussion, passed an exam by an independent neurologist Thursday.

After a 34-13 loss to the Bengals Thursday night, head coach Andy Reid hesitated before affirming that rookie Nick Foles would continue to be his guy.

"I'm going to stick with Nick," Reid said.

Running back LeSean McCoy, who missed his fourth game after being concussed, hasn't passed his independent neurology exam. Eagles head athletic trainer Rick Burkholder hoped to get both players to the independent neurologist.
