Eagles kicker Cody Parkey joins Merrill Reese and yours truly from 6 to 7
p.m. Thursday night at Chickie's and Pete's in Drexel Hill for Pro
Football Report.
Cody Parkey, with Jack McCaffery, left ...
The show airs on WBCB 1490-AM and 610-AM radio.
The show is at the Pilgrim Gardens location, 5035 Township Line Road, Upper Darby, 19082. Parkey is on Injured Reserve after undergoing groin surgery but is expected to make a full recover and is very much part of the Eagles' plan going forward.
Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford won the Heisman Trophy at Oklahoma.
He's part of the popular commercial series featuring Heisman winners sponsored by Nissan. In the following clip Bradford is sandbagging and boarding up the so-called Heisman House, presumably in anticipation of a storm, when Vinny Testaverde drives up in a car with Florida plates, gets out with a bag of groceries and says hello. Bradford's jaw drops. Testaverde won the Heisman at Miami, where, uh, the Hurricanes play. "Hurricane's coming," Bradford mutters, realizing the connection and that he'd been set up. The next thing you know the hammer, nails and boarding is flying across the lawn toward the other, very amused Heisman winners who got him, including RGIII.

Eagles linebacker Najee Goode joins Merrill Reese and yours truly from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday night at Chickie's and Pete's in Drexel Hill for Pro Football Report.
Mike Quick, myself and Merrill at PFReport last week.
The show airs on WBCB 1490-AM and 610-AM radio. The next two Thursday night shows also are at the Pilgrim Gardens location, 5035 Township Line Road, Upper Darby, 19082. Goode is one of the most versatile and affable Eagles. The former fifth-round draft pick of the Buccaneers is a fan of Professor X, cars, IPods, fishing, Usain Bolt and last but not least, Tom Brady.

If you want to make Chip Kelly sick to his stomach mention anything about the USC job, where his bud, Steve Sarkisian, was dismissed and is addressing what reports say is a substance abuse issue.
Sam Bradford, Lane Johnson hit Eagles practice field while Chip Kelly addresses coaching rumors.
Ask yourself how you would feel when outsiders asked if someone was interested in giving you the job that belongs to your sick friend on indefinite leave of absence. Like Clint Eastwood says, do you feel lucky, punk? These college rumors aren't going to go away because Kelly has a system that not only wins, but on that level wins big.
Which is why a wealthy friend of the Texas football program, according to reliable sources, wants Kelly to be the next man in that head coaching job currently occupied by Charlie Strong. The friend, we've been told, hails from the Middle East. Possibly a Prince. Imagine that news conference.
Marcus Smith
II played a career-high 22 snaps Sunday and was credited with his first tackle, plus a
quarterback hurry that led to Walt Thurmond’s interception setting up the last
Eagles touchdown.
Gone are these stickems on Smith's locker last year.
The Eagles' first-round draft pick in 2014 played 68 snaps in his rookie season, and although the team credited him with a tackle, they were the only entity to do so.
"Yeah, it gives me great confidence," Smith said. "With more and more reps,
more and more time that I get out there and play ill get better and better. That’s
what BG (Brandon Graham) and Connor (Barwin) always tell me. They just tell me to be ready at all times."
